Our Story:
The heart behind Cypress and Crow Grief Co.
Sarah Dominick, founder
Hello, I’m grieving.
Actually, my name is Sarah—I’m the founder of Cypress and Crow Grief Co., but also a mom, wife, and someone who knows firsthand the weight of loss. Grief entered my life in ways I never expected, reshaping how I see the world and the way I connect with others.
As I slowly began to navigate the overwhelming emotions that cling to life after loss, I realized something important: my grief wasn’t just hard for me—it was hard for others to understand and support.
There’s no gift that lessens the pain of miscarriage, no words to soften the first Father’s Day without your dad, and nothing that truly prepares you for saying goodbye to the sweetest dog to ever grace the earth.
Before I experienced loss, I didn’t know how to support others who had. No words seemed right. The typical “sympathy gifts” felt performative. Even spending time with someone to "take their mind off things" felt inconsequential.
That’s why I created Cypress and Crow Grief Co. I’m excited to start this journey of normalizing grief, fostering understanding, and offering support—even when no words will do.
Grief shouldn’t feel isolating. While deeply personal and unique, it is also profoundly human. And that truth lies at the heart of Cypress and Crow Grief Co.
For those seeking to offer comfort and support when no words will do
Cypress and Crow Grief Co. provides curated grief care packages that guide people who are navigating loss through their journey of grief and healing. Unlike traditional gifts, our packages offer lasting solace, combining cultural insights, science-backed anecdotes, and meaningful rituals to create a deeply supportive experience for recipients.
Our mission is two-fold:
1. To support those navigating their unique journey of loss and healing.
2. To help others show up for their loved ones with meaningful connection and intentional care.
