A Quiet Place Between Earth and Sky

Over the years, I’ve put together a care package for many friends who were grieving. It was never the same twice. Each time, I learned a little more about grief, and I wanted the gifts to say more than “I’m thinking of you.” So I started adding the why: what a candle, a cup of tea, or a handful of seeds has meant to people across cultures, what researchers have learned about grief, and small rituals to try.

I kept writing down my thoughts along the way. Those notes slowly became a book, A Quiet Place Between Earth and Sky, and now it sits in every box as a companion for each gift. It’s the part I haven’t found in other grief gifts, and the reason Cypress and Crow Grief Co. exists.
